Niimori Jamison Architects
Niimori Jamison collaborate between Kyoto and Melbourne (Naarm). A collaboration that grew from a university friendship and continues to evolve through the different projects and the people and places that we work with. These distant cultural settings allow us to reflect on architecture and place in a way that is stimulating and challenging.
They have worked in Australia, Switzerland, Japan and India and together bring a range of experience and skills. Before becoming registered architects, Yudai and James began their careers in related industries. Yudai started out as an interior and furniture designer in Japan and James in carpentry and concrete form-work.
Niimori Jamison architects share a passion for architecture that is detailed, meaningful and contextual.
