Niimori Jamison Architects
Niimori Jamison collaborate between Kyoto and Naarm (Melbourne). A collaboration that grew from the university friendship at Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, University of Italian Switzerland continues to evolve through the different projects and the people and places that we work with. These distant cultural settings allow them to reflect on architecture and place in a way that is stimulating and challenging.
They have worked in Australia, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Bhutan and India and together bring a range of experience and skills. Before becoming registered architects, Yudai and James began their careers in related industries. Yudai started out as an interior and furniture draftman and James in carpentry and concrete form-work.
Niimori Jamison architects share a passion for architecture that is detailed, meaningful and contextual.
